ORAL PRESENTERS

The presenters are kindly requested to upload their presentations on the dedicated laptop of the speaker ready corner located in the conference room, Big-Hall, a technician, and a member of the Organising Team will be present to assist during the process.

Presentations will have to be uploaded via USB stick up to 30 minutes before the start of the session.

Before doing so, please check the online programme at EO for Carbon Markets Forum – ConfTool Pro – BrowseSessions

for the following information:

  • Date of the presentation
  • Title of the session
  • Order of the presentation (e.g., 1st, 2nd, 3rd….)

File name convention and format

Please name your presentation according to the following:

  • Presentation Order in the session
  • Presenter Last name

E.g., 01_Brown.pptx/pdf

For each accepted contribution you can upload one file (max 230MB) as ppt, pptx or pdf.

The suggested format for presentation is 16:9.

Presenters are advised to check prior to their session start if formulas/animations/videos are shown correctly. Please ensure you are in the session room at least 30 minutes before the session begins to meet with the session chairs, who will be near the stage. During the session, a member of the technical team will launch the presentation for you. The presenters must change the slides with the “slide advance device” placed on the podium.

Any presentation from personal laptops is not allowed to ensure a smooth programme running and minimise the transition time between presentations.

NOTE: For each presenter there is allocated a 10-minute slot, (with a few exceptions) the Q&A Time will be managed after each session(s).

INSTRUCTIONS for Remote Presenters:

The session(s) will run Webex Meeting PRO

For a smoother event flow, we would like to give the remote presenters some house rules and definitions of roles within the Webex tool.

ROLES ON THE WEBEX MEETING PRO

  1. Host/Co-host: Webex Session Organiser(s) have the full power in managing the meeting, can unmute/mute everyone, decides who can present, can change other attendees’ role.
  2. Panelists: the Speakers have full control for themselves, can mute/unmute and share to present the content.
  3. Attendee: ALL the participants are joining in the session as attendee, they will be muted upon entry, they will only listen, no interaction with the panelists is foreseen.

Note: The WebEx link to attend remotely to the event, will be sent to a dedicated list and closer to the event date. For any enquiries related to the link, please contact:

EO4society.conf@esa.int

Please find below the link to some generic technical instructions for the Webex Platform for your information (how to download the sw, how to set up audio/video, how to connect)
